Black magic has traditionally referred to the use of supernatural powers or magic for evil and selfish purposes. With respect to the left-hand path and right-hand path dichotomy, black magic is the malicious, left-hand counterpart of the benevolent white magic. In modern times, some find that the definition of "black magic" has been convoluted by people who define magic or ritualistic practices that they disapprove of as "black magic".
Black Magic Woman" is a song written by British musician Peter Green, which first appeared as a Fleetwood Mac single in various countries in 1968, subsequently appearing on the 1969 Fleetwood Mac compilation albums English Rose (US) and The Pious Bird of Good Omen (UK), as well as Vintage Years. In 1970, it became a hit by Santana, as sung by Gregg Rolie, reaching No. 4 in the US and Canadian charts, after appearing on their Abraxas album.
Lyrics to "No Surrender" song by Beast In Black: Your eyes have seen more death than life And the final page is all you write Evil shadow looms upon. Keep the faith alive Don't give up the fight Remember, in the burning heart There can never be surrender at all Fearless to the bone Master of your own creation Born to walk alone They will never own your burning heart. No surrender! When the skin is thin and the flesh shows through Smoking guns take aim at you Victimized by a fate so dire Now a messenger of true hellfire. Raging willpower unleashed from below Nothing can stop you, There's nothing that strong.
WHITE MAGIC was formed by Mira Billotte in New York City. Their debut album together as Body/Head, Coming Apart, from 2013, was more of a rock record-heavy, emotional, cathartic, spellwork in shades of black and grey. The Switch is their second studio full-length, and it finds the duo working with a more subtle palette, refining their ideas and identity. Some of it was sketched out live (if you’ve not had the fortune of seeing them in that natural environment yet, see 2016’s improvisational document No Waves), but much of it happened purely in the moment.

Cursed Black magic night We've been struck down Down in this hell Spells surround me day and night Stricken by the force of evil light The force of evil light. Cast Under his spell Blinding my eyes Twisting my mind Fight to resist the evil inside Captive of a force of satan's might A force of satan's might. Fighting the curse Break it I must Laughing in sorrow Crying in lust. My strength slips away Soon I must fall Victim of fortune My sources grow small Life slips away As demons come forth Death takes my hand And captures my soul.
