Hit me like a tidal wave. Words so silent squeezing around my neck You’re pulling me with you under the water Eyes so violent seeing through my soul You’re pulling me with you under the water. Go move on And hit me like a tidal wave It won’t kill me, it won’t drown me Hit me like a tidal wave Hit me like a tidal wave. Tell me, I’m a deadwing It would be easier to see Smoke and mirrors, all the errors We’re just reflections on the wall

Brother and sister rockers Joe Gideon & The Shark are set to release their second album Freakish on January 7 via Bronze Rat Records, and we've got an exclusive first play of album cut 'Higher Power/Where Have All The Good Times Gone': The cut's a good sign of things to come, with its dynamic shift from building crescendos overlaid with piano arpeggios, into a gospel-esque coda driven by guttural guitar, all the time strung together with Gideon's strident vocal.
