Attractions include Barry Island Pleasure Park, the Barry Tourist Railway, Porthkerry Park, St Donat's Castle, Cosmeston Lakes Country Park and Cosmeston Medieval Village.
They provide music lessons, tuition and groups for under 18s throughout Cardiff County and the Vale of Glamorgan, which in reality covers a massive area. In my time I was in all three of their choirs, two of their orchestras, and had violin, clarinet, flute and singing lessons. Year after year, there continue to be fantastic show put on with the ensembles, in venues such as County Hall and St David's Hall. The standard (particularly within the more advanced groups) is surprisingly high. Week after week the teachers are dedicated to providing a good and fun service.
The Choir has sung in local chapels, the Royal Albert Hall and numerous cathedrals. The bigger the acoustic, the longer the echo, the better the experience-the closer it brings us and our audiences to musical heaven. Formed in 1902, this choir that loves to sing in four part harmony, following dedicated rehearsals to achieve the high standards for which it has become renowned. It boasts performances around the globe, in some of the world’s best known concert venues.
