Trapeze is the fifth studio album by English hard rock band Trapeze. Recorded with producer Steve Smith at Island Studios, London, it was released in 1975 by Warner Bros. The album was preceded by the release of one single, a cover version of "On the Sunny Side of the Street", originally recorded by Frank Sinatra.

Hot Wire is more "funky" than Trapeze, but don't let that word put you off. After all we are talking about the band that brought us Glenn Hughes. The album features some pretty soulful wailings from some coloured ladies on background vocals, but also features some nice guitar work. Mel Galley is clearly the leading light in that respects but I reckon Rob Kendrick fills out the sound nicely.
