The album remained on the charts for the next three years and peaked at No. 3. In 1963, Williams's producer Robert Mersey encouraged him to record "Can't Get Used to Losing You" as the B Side to "Days of Wine and Roses". Williams initially did not like the pop song, preferring the Mancini tune, but "Can't Get Used to Losing You" reached No. 2 in the US and in the UK. The album containing both songs, Days of Wine and Roses and Other TV Requests, topped the album charts at No. 1 for 16 weeks. I just feel like I’m losing, Staring at this mirror, Wonder what the fuck I’m doing, I got a homie that’s locked up, That I ain’t even take the time to write, And it just kills me inside, Cause I haven’t seen him in a few years, And I know he probably wonders, If I know he’s. still alive, Shout out to jae mo, Cause nobody believed me, He gave me an opportunity, To show the world what I’m made, & Now I make these muthafuckas bleed. this music until I just hit a mill, Used to sniff coke up my nose, Just to get a thrill, Didn’t really care what it was, I just Took it just to feel, It was bad, & I know, That it is why I have survived, So many fucking panic attacks, I can’t even get high, Told my homie Andrew take me.

However, the Williams song adds a note of vulnerability, no matter what the Louisville Hot Sauce Slugger says. With Hold Up they just sent me the beat and the hook. I wrote that first verse and the ‘jealous and crazy’ part. I can play you my demo if you want.
