Lay Down the Law is the debut album by the American glam metal band Keel. It was the only album to feature original drummer Bobby Marks
Don’t say things that might hurt someone’s feelings. We’ve been programmed to be SHEEP. More men are killing themselves than ever before. Because they won’t tell the truth. They won’t say how they rreakly feel or what they really want. So men baaaahhhh like SHEEP, fall in line, do as we are told, work in a job we hate, come home to a family we barely know, then one day wake up and say IS THIS IT?. Is this the American dream I was told to pursue?. My friends TRUTH will set you free.
While you probably haven't heard Michael's music on the radio, you've undoubtedly heard his work in one of the literally thousands of commercials he scored for clients like Apple, Coca-Cola, Disney and Nike. But he's not just a composer-for-hire: Michael is also building a significant discography – 22 CDs to date – as a solo recording artist, working in pop, jazz, classical, electronic and those fascinating, unclassifiable spaces in between.
Lyrics to "Lay Your Gun Down" song by In This Moment: What have I gone and fucked up again this time? How did I become my own demise? All these twisted l. .What have I gone and fucked up again this time? How did I become my own demise? All these twisted little parts of me Afraid of losing everything So I, pulled the trigger and I fired away I pulled the trigger and I fired away. Can you still hear my voice from afar? Your dead flowers are still hanging on my walls I felt God when you were near For once everything seemed so clear Until you, you pulled the trigger and you fired away You pulled the trigger and you fired away. The shot you took was overdue It's a good thing I am made of scar tissue Until you fired.
Falling Down (with Lil Peep and XXXtentacion). The track was originally released as a posthumous bonus track on Peep’s sophomore album, Come Over When You’re Sober, Pt. 2. Friends Go (by Maggie Lindemann). The intro track on Barker’s debut solo album fittingly features Lil Wayne, Rick Ross, Swizz Beatz and The Game. But I’m ’bout to go off, 'cause that is all I know of/ I don’t have to show y’all, I’d rather show off/ Yeah, Travis on the drums, Travis on the beat/ Wayne got the smoke and Game got the heat, Wayne raps. I’mma just chill/ Lay low and stay breezy, are the main lyrics on top of Barker’s characteristic drumming.
Released in 1996, this CD definitively answers a question that has occasionally plagued the Cowboy Junkies: yes, they sound good, but can they rock? Though still laden with the melancholia that has marked previous efforts, this CD is sonically dense, guitar-drenched, and good at high-volume levels. Margo Timmins' voice has never been more expressive, and the lyrics shimmer with intensity. Although the band has occasionally touched on quiet moments reminiscent of fellow Canadian Neil Young, little they have done before this album approached the emotive wail.
Produced by Gus Van Go. Album Hello Master. Lay down, sleep my little darling I'll be nothing when you're gone Lay down just like in a coffin Then I'll have nothing but a song. I'll leave you in a coffin for real And I'll leave you in a church. Lay down, leave, you'll be lonely I know I won't go Lay down, sleep, you'll be lonely I know I won't go, it's not my turn.
