Vapen & ammunition (Swedish for Weapons & Ammunition) is the fifth studio album by Swedish alternative rock band Kent. It was released on April 15, 2002 through RCA Records and BMG. Absent from this album is a long, mostly-instrumental song, rounding the album off, as had been a characteristic of the band ever since their second record Verkligen. The white tiger on the cover is a tribute to the band's hometown Eskilstuna: the zoo in town had white tigers as its main attraction.
Also, Swedish seller would be a plus, or at least Scandinavian. The very best album from Kent, and one of the finest moments in swedish music history. Quality from start to finish. It's simply a must have album. The album begins with 'Sundance Kid', a really nice introduction. Next out is 'Pärlor', one of the best songs on the album. Then 'Dom Andra', the number one single, follows with some of the finest whistling sounds ever to be made. What now follows will make your dreams come true.

Vapen & ammunition (2002) topped the Swedish charts for 95 weeks. Kent is often compared to bands like U2, Coldplay and Depeche Mode. Because Kent's songs are primarily performed in Swedish, they are unfamiliar to most English-speaking audiences. Kent briefly attempted an international career with English versions of the albums Isola (1997) and Hagnesta Hill (1999) and an accompanying American tour for the former, but stopped after finding less success than they had in Scandinavia. Hagnesta Hill and B-sidor 95-00 (1999–2000). Vapen & ammunition and the White Concert (2002–2003). Du & jag döden and The hjärta & smärta EP (2005–2006). Tillbaka till samtiden and Box 1991–2008 (2007–2008).

Fun fact: I am pretty sure this was the first album I ever heard in my life, and thus it has a pretty special place in my heart. Regardless if this, this is by many considered a milestone in Kent's career, including myself. If this album was recorded in English, like their previous two records, it would have definitely shot Kent into the international mainstream. Least fav track: Duett.
