Procession is the thirteenth album from Weather Report. Although several previous Weather Report tracks included wordless singing, and "And Then" from Mr. Gone included brief lyrics, "Where the Moon Goes" was the band's first track including lyrics throughout, sung by members of The Manhattan Transfer. The band would continue to feature vocals on the next three albums.
The Atrix were an Irish new wave/power pop band formed in mid 1978 by John Borrowman (guitar/vocals) and Chris Green (keyboards), both ex Berlin. Alan Finney on bass (ex Schoolkids) and drummer Hugh Friel, ex Slow Motion Orchestra. This lineup made the first demo recording ("Circus Tragedy") and appeared at the Carnsore Point Anti-Nuclear Rally in 1978. It was produced by Midge Ure. They released 'Procession', their only album in 1981. Borrowman later teamed up with Frank West and the two wrote and recorded songs, playing gigs as Very Much in Love and The Atrix. They released two further singles as The Atrix: 'Very Much in Love' and 'Your Halo is Burning' (with Chris Green on keyboards and Dick Conroy on bass, produced by Andrew Boland). Very Much in Love' was subsequently released in Denmark using the band name Afghan Trucks.

PROCESSION formed in Turin in 1972. They came out that same year with an album titled "Frontiera" for the small Help label (an RCA subsidiary that also released QUELLA VECCHIA LOCANDA's first album). After two years of silence, the band reappeared with a new line-up (Capra, Girardi and Capello were substituted by bass player Paolo D'Angelo and horns player Maurizio Gianotti), and a new recording deal, this time it's Fonit that releases their second album "Fiaba", their best work. Despite a good live activity PROCESSION never gained the success they deserved and though they released two albums they disappeared without trace.
