Even though The 3rd and the Mortal has never been a strict and orthodox doom band, they sure had more "metal" moments than this album here. But don't let that detail drive you away from this experience, believe me, you'd be missing out much. This album, clocking at little over an hour, is full of experimentation, alternative instruments and a strong ambiental feeling throughout the whole 14 tracks it has to offer, eliminating all possibilities of getting boring or repetitive

For the first time on vinyl format, reissue of the second full length album from The 3rd and The Mortal, and first recording after the departure of Kari Rueslåtten, replaced on this album and In This Room by Ann-Mari Edvardsen. The band moved from previous metal sounds to more avantgarde compositions, making usage of mellotrone, didjeridoo or waterbucket without losing the spirit and atmosphere from previous recordings. Once again, as pioneers of the genre, a masterpiece was on the table.
